What are alternatives to Daisycon for a small webshop?

Choose an alternative for a specific reason

Awin and TradeTracker are network alternatives to investigate; UpPromote is an option to examine for a Shopify-led affiliate programme; ThreeStove is another route for a focused creator campaign. The useful question is not which logo replaces Daisycon, but which problem a change should solve.

Write that problem down: too few relevant publishers, too much manual work, unsuitable commercial terms or unclear order attribution. Without a measurable reason, changing platforms can reproduce the same problem with new setup work. This is ThreeStove’s editorial assessment, not an independent provider ranking.

02

Check whether the missing ingredient is actually recruitment

Daisycon works with different publisher types, including content publishers and creators. It should not be reduced to a coupon or cashback-only network. Before leaving, check whether the partners you need are available and whether anyone has actively recruited them.

For a Dutch skincare webshop, for example, define relevant product-review sites, routine-focused creators and the audience geography you need. Ask for concrete recruitment possibilities and eligibility requirements. A large general directory is not evidence of an active partner group in your niche. Neither is a list of email addresses.

03

Compare three routes, not just three logos

Another affiliate network. Compare Awin and TradeTracker for the markets, partner types and service level you need. Request current terms; do not assume one is cheaper.

An affiliate app for your own relationships. UpPromote is a Shopify affiliate app. This route is worth examining if you already know who should promote your products. Check which recruitment, tracking and payment tasks remain yours.

A focused creator workflow. ThreeStove lets you evaluate a creator-campaign approach. Check the actual niche fit, campaign conditions and reserve requirements. A smaller platform is not automatically more personal, and availability must be verified rather than inferred from positioning.

04

Send every provider the same selection brief

State your shop integration, target country, product category, intended publisher types and the person responsible for the programme. Include how you want to handle discounts, returns and partners who also work with competitors.

Ask for the complete cost structure and a walkthrough of one order from referral to confirmed commission. Check the commission basis: a percentage is not comparable until you know whether discounts, shipping, tax and returns affect it. Request the attribution window and the rules for competing clicks or codes.

Finally, ask what happens if no partner becomes active. Separate contractual support commitments from optimistic sales language.

05

Migrate without losing the thread

Before replacing tracking, document existing partner agreements, outstanding commissions, live links and the applicable attribution windows. Agree a cutover date and a process for resolving overlapping claims. Do not simply turn on two systems and add their reported revenue together.

Tell participating partners what changes, whether they need new links and who handles older orders. Export the records you need and verify an authorised test order and return in the new setup. Do not promise that past attribution or balances will automatically transfer.

06

When is switching worth it?

Switch when a verified gap is solved. An alternative should demonstrate the integration, workflow or relevant partner access you are missing, at an acceptable total cost.

Stay when the platform is not the bottleneck. An unclear offer, weak product fit or nobody owning recruitment will not be fixed by a migration.

For a small team, test one product category with explicit budget and workload limits before expanding. Judge active partners, confirmed orders and contribution after programme costs, not signups alone. Provider sources were checked on 28 September 2026; commercial terms and availability can change.
