Why rewards work
Commission pays creators per sale; rewards give them a reason to pick your campaign and stay active in it. A starter sample removes the first hurdle, because the creator can start producing without buying anything, and milestone rewards keep momentum going once sales flow.
You define rewards in the campaign wizard: the sales target, the type, and what it is. Creators see the full reward ladder on your campaign page before they apply.

Starter samples
A starter sample is a reward with a target of zero, claimable the moment you approve a creator. You pick the products in the wizard from your connected catalog.
When a creator claims one, WooCommerce stores get a zero-value order created automatically with the creator's shipping address. Shopify stores with the current draft-order permission get a 100% discounted draft that completes into a €0.00 order; older installs without that permission keep the claim in your Rewards queue so you can place the order yourself. Fulfilment then runs exactly like any other order in your shop, and the claim tracks it.
Samples cost you the goods and the shipping, nothing else. There is no platform charge on a sample order.
The claims queue
Every claim lands in your Rewards queue with the creator, the campaign, the reward, and the shipping address where one applies. You approve or decline pending claims, mark physical rewards as shipped with a tracking reference, and the creator confirms receipt to close the loop.
Addresses exist for fulfilment only and are cleaned up under the platform's retention rules after a claim completes.
Cash rewards and escrow
Cash rewards settle at the moment you approve the claim: the amount moves from your campaign escrow to the creator's balance in one locked transaction, and a ledger entry records it.
Approval is blocked when the campaign escrow cannot cover the reward, so you can never approve money you do not have. Top up the campaign first, then approve.
Approving a cash claim is the payment moment. Review the claim before approving; a settled reward is a completed transaction.
