What's on your application card
When you apply to a campaign, the brand sees the same applicant card every time: your channels and follower counts where you choose to share them, your click volume and conversion rate over the last 90 days, how many campaigns have already approved you, and the milestone badges you have earned.
None of that is guesswork on the brand's side. It comes from the same verified activity that drives your own dashboard, so what a brand sees and what you see are the same numbers.
What you can influence before you apply
A few things are within your control before you ever hit apply: finishing your profile, and verifying the channels you actually promote on through Settings. An unverified channel does not carry the same weight as a verified one on your application card.
A complete, verified profile is the version of your application that gets read carefully. A bare one is the version that gets skipped.
Fit beats follower count
Brands are not scanning applicant cards for the biggest number. Most filter on fit: does your audience actually match what the campaign sells. A smaller creator whose audience is exactly on-topic regularly beats a much larger, generic account.
That cuts both ways: a small, focused following is a real asset here, not something to apologize for.
Instant approval exists, but most review is manual
A handful of campaigns approve applications the moment they arrive. Most do not: a person on the brand's side reads your card and decides, which is why approval can take a day or more rather than being instant.
Either way, the same applicant card is what gets read; there is no separate fast track that skips the profile and channel data.
What approval unlocks
The moment a brand approves you, your tracking link goes live, the campaign playbook opens with content ideas for you, and a starter sample, if the campaign carries one, becomes claimable right away.
Nothing on your side needs to be redone: approval is the single switch that turns all of it on at once.
Approval is not guaranteed. Brands decide on fit, and even a strong application can be turned down for reasons that have nothing to do with your numbers.
Why was my application rejected?
Brands decide based on fit with their campaign and audience, and they do not always share a reason. A rejection on one campaign says nothing about your standing on the next; keep applying where your audience genuinely matches.
How long does review take?
It varies by brand and campaign. A few campaigns approve instantly; most involve a person reading your card, so a day or more is normal rather than a sign that something is wrong.
